Social network – Movie review Movie, Reviews
Social network is a movie based on the story of Facebook. It is a tale of sex, money, genius and betrayal as defined by the book Accidental Billionaires. With rave reviews flowing in for this movie from all quarters, I decided to give it a shot this week.

The protogonist Mark Zuckerburg is a young witty Computer science student in Harvard. But he is quite unpopular with girls for his rather rude attitude and goes through a bad break-up with his girl friend. Then he creates a website called facemash a better version of Harvard hot or not. This website gets 22K visitor in just 4hours time. Three senior Harvard students take notice of this and offer to work with him for a new project called HarvardConnect, a website where user can upload their data and connect with their friends. Mark accepts the project initially and turns it down after 6 weeks time. Meanwhile he had evolved the idea of HarvardConnect and released a new service called thefacebook.com with the help of his friends. Later the seniors sue Mark for stealing their idea. Meanwhile Mark has a tussle with his close friend as well. How Mark handles this twin edged knife is the story
The director has done a wonderful job and his presentation is fabulous. Every scene was interesting and the way he has presented a twin edge battle without boring his audience is wonderful. The main strength of this movie is the flawless casting and a light humored script. The director has done an excellent job in taking up a neutral path and have stayed out of any possible controversies. Kudos to the team.
