As a mark of Children’s day celebrations, Google has launched a new D4G doodle. This doodle was designed by an Indian student Akshay Raj from Mangalore. The contest was open for Students between class 1 and 10 and was based on the theme “My Dream for India”.

Akshay Raj was awarded a Technology starter package and his school was given around 2 lacks as grant. This is far less compared to what is being awarded in USA. Interestingly this was not featured in Google’s official blog.
